We help working women
We have a specialist advice service for working women called the Working Women’s Legal Service (WWLS).
WWLS provides advice on gender-based discrimination at work, such as discrimination because of pregnancy, parental leave, or carer’s responsibilities.
WWLS also advises women who have suffered sexual harassment or sex-based harassment in the workplace.
We do not give general employment law or worker’s compensation law advice. You can get free legal advice on employment matters from your local community legal centre. Legal Aid NSW also provides free employment law advice. Call LawAccess on 1300 888 529 for a referral to your local employment law service.
